Job Description

Performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards, policies and procedures to provide departmental patient care support up to a 24 hour basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Performs all procedures in Radiology, General, Operating Room C-arms, Portable and Fluoro in accordance to facility protocols and procedures.
• Performs all basic RIS, HIS and PACS functions.
• Acts in accordance to and adheres to all Facility and Departmental policies.
• Participates in call and rotating of facilities as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a two-year AMA accredited school in Radiologic Technology.
• Current certification as a Registered Radiographer registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current state of Maryland licensure as a Radiographer. Current CPR certification
