Physical Therapist 2
Towson Sports Medicine - Cockeysville Location

We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in our Cockeysville Location.

Deliver physical therapy services through evaluation of patient needs, goal determination, and development of treatment plans according to the principles and practices of physical therapy.

Principal Responsibilities and Tasks

The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified.

1. Performs direct physical therapy services to patients in accordance with generally accepted physical therapy standards, State of Maryland Physical Therapy Practice Act, code of ethics, and departmental procedures. Records patient evaluations, re-evaluations and care provided in the medical record in accordance with departmental documentation standards.

2. Engage in professional development and advancement activities. Provides mentorship and training to clinical staff.

3. Participates in and/or leads performance improvement activities, and other initiatives.

4. Identifies, resolves and/or escalates routine clinical and operational issues to department leadership for resolution, to assure high quality care, and efficient departmental operations.

5. Facilitates interdisciplinary, safe, patient-centered care and delivers excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland
• Current ACLS or BCLS certification
