About the Program The Treasury Summer Associates Program is an 11-week, paid internship. Corporate Treasury has a unique opportunity for a Summer Associate to assist UPMCs investment group in the management of two large investment portfolios. You will get the opportunity to attend external investment management meetings, work with the investment analytical system, and get involved in the details of running a large and diverse investment program. The Summer Associate also typically assists in one investment research project within the traditional equity asset class which may entail market research, investment manager research and interviews, and report preparation to support the investment idea. During your internship program, you will have the opportunity to network with UPMC Executives, give back to the Pittsburgh Community through Summer Associate service events, receive mentorship, enhance your skills with hands-on real-world experience and training, and most importantly, work on projects that make an impact on patient care while gaining knowledge on how we provide Life Changing Medicine. Qualifications Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelors degree with a target graduation date between December 2018 and August 2020 required Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher required Preference will be given to candidates pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field with an interest in investment management Availability to participate in the Summer Associates Program full-time from June to August 2019 for approximately 11 weeks with minimal absence (Yes, dont worry, you can still enjoy some summer vacation time!)
