    HR Data Analyst JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the day-to-day work efforts relative to administration human resources data analysis. This includes supporting the customer base for the applications, performing miscellaneous configuration changes, assisting with design/development efforts, troubleshooting technical issues and creating/analyzing/delivering various ad-hoc reports. Is expected to operate within a rapidly changing work environment in accordance with the company's mission and values. This position requires extensive experience using advanced MS Excel tools and techniques such as VLook-Ups, Pivot Tables, Combo Charts, cleaning messy data and producing polished presentations based on raw data analysis. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and be comfortable interacting with peers and co-workers at all levels while conducting customer needs analysis documentation, making requests for raw data and working both independently and as a member of a team to quickly turn analysis findings. Experience creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards highly desired. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Create engaging visual data presentations based on raw data on a variety of HR subjects including turnover, workforce planning, employee engagement, exit surveys, recruiting metrics among others. * Proactively identify customer strength and weaknesses and suggest areas of business process improvement. Propose solutions to problems and consider timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing customer needs. * Trouble-shoot technical issues and user issues, while interacting with the software vendor. * Develop and maintain documentation and create documentation for existing processes where applicable. Sensory * Occasional: Vision: Clarity of near vision at 20 inches or less and far vision at 20 feet or more with depth perception, peripheral vision, color vision. * Frequent: Noise: May include exposure to occupational noise levels which equal or exceed an 8-hr time-weighted average of 85 decibels, requiring enrollment in VUMC's Hearing Conservation Program which includes training, use of hearing protection, and periodic audiometry. * Continuous: Communication: Expressing or exchanging written/verbal/electronic information.
