SEO SPECIALIST

We are looking for a creative Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing Marketing team. As an SEO Specialist, you will perform keyword research, content optimization, and other SEO tasks to increase and maximize online visibility, rankings, traffic, and conversions for our franchisee websites. You will work across key areas of organic search and digital marketing to support the tactical development, strategic direction, and continuous improvement of current and future website optimization and initiatives. You will ensure on-page optimization to produce relevant search results and positive website user experiences as well as grow site traffic, lead volume, and brand awareness. The role reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing. REMOTE WORK AVAILABLE if outside the Philadelphia region CLASSIFICATION: Salaried, Exempt PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The duties and responsibilities described below do not represent a comprehensive list for this position. ·       Conduct, implement, and monitor keyword research to boost local SEO visibility and rankings

·       Improve overall local search traffic and volume through best-practice SEO

·       Prepare analytic reports that include traffic and website performance

·       Perform regular competitive analysis to build actionable SEO strategies and tactics

·       Optimize overall content, including copy, page headings, titles, image tags, meta descriptions, etc.

·       Forecast trends and determine how they will enhance future traffic

·       Communicate effectively and make strategic recommendations to improve SEO positions for target keywords

·       Perform audits regularly to identify issues and ensure sites are properly optimized

·       Present findings and recommendations to franchise owners

·       Work closely with the social media team to align social distribution and SEO efforts

·       Other duties may be assigned

REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

·       Bachelors' Degree in marketing, advertising, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

·       5+ years relatable digital experience preferred

·       Proven SEO experience and a track record of success growing organic search traffic and conversions

·       Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition

·       Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and inbound marketing

·       In-depth experience with website analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics)

·       Working knowledge of HTML

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Experience in Local Search Optimization

·       Proficiency and aptitude in website content creation as well as copywriting and editing

·       Effective project management and communication skills

·       Proficient in website platforms and computer skills such as Customer Management Systems (CMS), Photoshop, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

·       Work independently and proactively with minimal direction and/or supervision

·       Ability to lawfully work in the U.S.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

·       This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

·       Must be able to properly operate office equipment.

·       Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, leadership team, supervisors, clients, family members, vendors and all business associates within or outside the company.
