At Visiting Angels, we strive to refer the best non-medical living assistance services possible that enable seniors, as well as others in need of assistance, in our community to maintain the independence and dignity of their daily routines in their own homes. Our mission is to bring our clients happiness and provide compassionate care with a positive and respectful attitude; while tailoring their care plan to meet their wants and needs, which allows individuals to keep the freedom they deserve when it comes to quality care.

As an independent contractor, you will work directly with your clients, create your own schedule and control your own compensation

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:

Valid CNA license through the state of Florida or Home Health Aide certificate with 40 hours or more

CPR card from the American Heart Association or Red Cross

Valid driver’s license, Social Security card and auto insurance

Health statement (written within the last six months and with the statement “free of communicable diseases”)

Certificate of professional liability insurance

Level 2 background screening (required if more than 90 days has passed since prior employment)

HIV Certificate

Assistance with Self-Administered Medications Certificate

Alzheimer’s and Dementia Certificate

Specific Job Requirements, though not limited to:

Bathing and Hygiene Assistance

Meal Preparation

Joyful Companion Services

Light housekeeping

Overnight Care

Errands & Shopping

Respite for family

Live-in Care

Temporary or Long-term Care

Weekend and Daytime Availability Needed
