The student intern will be tasked with providing administrative support for the Visiting Nurse of Ohio's VNAO) marketing communications and fundraising (philanthropy) work. The student intern supports VNAOs mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationships with co-workers. The student intern may be asked to assist with the following tasks: Marketing Communications: 1. Revising, adding, or creating website content utilizing HubSpot. 2. Revising, adding, or creating social media content utilizing HubSpot. 3. Assist in the creation of marketing and event materials, logo's, signs, etc. 4. Filming or editing videos with testimonials from VNAO members, community partners, staff and Board members and posting to social media (YouTube), etc. Fundraising: 1. Assisting with the implementation of donation campaigns (mailings, social media posts, e-mails). 2. Assisting in the planning, writing, and coordinating of Constant Contact e-blasts for special events. 3. Assists with administrative coordination for special events which may include auction donation tracking, attendance tracking, and signage development. 4. Attending special events, (scheduled in advance), to provide logistical support to the VP of Philanthropy. 5. Coordinates work with and takes direction from the VP of Philanthropy. 6. Adheres to the organization's policy regarding absenteeism and appearance. 7. Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position. Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications: 1. Completed or working toward a college degree in Development, Fundraising, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline. 2. Experience with social media. 3. Advanced computer skills with proficiency in MS Office products, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Cloud and Constant Contact or similar email marketing platform. 4. Experience with video editing software a plus. Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Business office environment with phone and computer use. Working indoors and may be required to travel outside to event venue locations as needed. Location: This position is based out of VNAOs physical space at 925 Keynote Circle, Suite 300, Brooklyn Heights, OH 44131. However, due to Covid regulations, it may be possible to work out of your home. Compensation: This position is being compensated at $15 per hour, not to exceed 40 hours per week and not to exceed a total of 500 hours for 2022.
