Responsibilities Supports Government Affairs in coordinating relationships with VNSNY internal and external stakeholders. Analyzes Federal, New York State and New York City policies that impact VNSNY mission and business interests. Works under moderate supervision. Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in public policy or government relations, preferably in the healthcare industry, required. Proficiency with social media, and modern software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, required. Proficiency in Salesforce and geomapping software preferred. Demonstrated strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required. Detail-oriented with strong follow through skills required. Must be team player with a high degree of initiative and professionalism, willing to assist at 'crunch' times (before meetings or other important deadlines).
