    Job Posting: Clerical Coordinator - Education Department Employment Type: Full Time Location: Washington Regional Medical Center - Fayetteville, AR Department: Employee Education Shift: Monday - Friday Days FTE: Job Number: JO-1901-37026 Date Posted: 1/3/2019 Categories: General Support POSITION SUMMARY The Education Coordinator is responsible for assisting the AHA Training Center (TC) Coordinator by providing TC record/database management support, as well as serving as an instructor and monitoring for programs offered via the TC. Must be able to effectively multi-task and make determinations regarding the priority of tasks that promote the efficiency of the center while preserving optimal customer service. The Education Coordinator is also responsible for duties within the Employee Education department, including functioning as the main respondent/router of calls to the Education Department, assisting incoming customers and answering questions, assisting School instructor and students with onboarding, Cerner logins, and WR access, providing assistance with the Learning Management System, In addition, he/she is responsible for general office duties, as assigned by the Education Manager. The majority of work time is spent sitting (up to 80% of work time) with frequent standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing required (up to 40 lbs.) LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED N/A SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION Bachelors degree in Education or health-related field and experience with office management or teaching required. Must acquire and maintain American Heart Association BLS/CPR instructor credential within 90 days of hire. Two years office-based experience using the MS Office suite of products as well as Office Outlook products is required. Proficient in electronic archiving, e-mailing, faxing, and phoning. Exposure to a healthcare environment and familiarity with medical terminology is strongly preferable. Experience or training in education, information systems, or related field is highly encouraged. Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats as well as to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
