Human Resources Partner Department: Human Resources Req Num: 7614 Schedule: Part Time + Shift: Days Hours: 35 hours/week Hours Per Pay Period: 35 Job Details: * POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Assistant provides support to the Human Resources department. Greets and assists visitors to the HR/Payroll Department. Handles daily office activities including opening, sorting and prioritizing of mail, monitoring and ordering office supplies, identifying equipment problems and arranges for maintenance/repair. The HR Partner provides administrative, systems and project support to the WH HR Programs and Systems department. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION * High School Degree or GED equivalent. * Associates Degree in a related field is preferred. EXPERIENCE * 3 to 5 years of administrative support experience. * 1 to 3 years of Human Resources experience preferred. COMPETENCIES * Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office Suite are required. * Must have excellent English verbal and written skills to effectively communicate to customers. * Must be flexible, have a strong teamwork orientation and excellent customer service skills. * Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred. Job-Specific Competency 1. Create and maintain employee personnel and benefits files in accordance with federal, JCAHO and WH established guidelines. 2. Assist department with employee mailings and communications. 3. Attend and provided input at meetings as assigned with all levels of employees and co-workers. 4. Provide customer service to those visiting the HR department, including benefits enrollment and applying to positions at kiosk. 5. Coordinate scheduling all pre-employment activities 6. Onboard applicants, responsible for coordination and finalization with regards to ensuring healthscreens are done in a timely manner, processing background checks, coordination and completion of new hire paperwork and generation of employment letters (Offer letters, transfer letters, note to manager email, etc) as directed by the Talent Acquisition Team. 7. Works with the Business Partners when needed with regard to new hire and transfers utilizing established policy and procedure. 8. Complete adhoc or scheduled report requests from HR or outside associates 9. Manage and maintain appropriate office supplies for department. 10. Provides project support to WH HR team, as needed.
