    ROLE SUMMARY

    The Program Coordinator collaborates with the Early Intervention Services program staff throughout the month to collect client service data, make needed entries into online billing platforms, create reports, keep track of performance metrics, and conduct outreach for the department.

     

    • Maintains clinical records and central files according to Regional Center requirements and maintains productivity tracking for the program using Microsoft Excel
    • Promotes census building for the program by contacting Regional Centers, social workers, and community organizations about our services
    • Collects data from program staff on client outcomes and calculates percentages of goals met
    • Coordinates the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports, including accessing Regional Center online billing portals to enter service data (Welligent and SANDIS)
    • Audits staff timesheets in comparison to billing reports by county contract requirements
    • Processes new referrals and coordinates any needed documentation with the referral source
    • Represents Wayfinder Family Services programs at community vendor fairs
    • Provides information regarding the different aspects and specifics of the Early Intervention Program
    • Provides administrative support to Vision Impairment/Early Intervention Specialists and Program Director, including supply ordering, setting Zoom meetings, and collecting event RSVPs

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology, Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field from an accredited college or university (preferred). Experience in case management may be considered instead of a bachelor’s degree.
    • Must be highly organized and able to work in a multi-tasking and fast-paced environment.
    • Experienced in organizing data, writing reports, and entering client information into online platforms.
    • Strong background in billing tasks and file management with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
