    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work as a team with other developers to produce Web applications/Web Service applications
    • Lead/mentor the work of other web developers:
      • Coordinate day-to-day assignments
      • Provide guidance and expertise
      • Monitor and report progress on web development projects
      • Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement
      • Forecast and plan resource requirements
    • Learn and understand the client's business process
    • Develop and maintain system source code using ASP.net to produce web applications
    • Follow State procedures and development coding standards when developing code
    • Provide standardization and consistency across web applications
    • Lead discussions to document and recommend alternative solutions or application requirements for assigned projects
    • Identify and initiate resolutions to user problems and concerns associated with web applications
    • Serve as a key resource to solve complex and/or critical issues, and to develop innovative solutions
    • Assist in preparing presentation materials for technical review meetings, approval sessions, and application demonstrations
    • Assist with preparation of help documents and procedure manuals affiliated with assigned projects
    • Participate in Requirements and Functional Design sessions with business analyst, technical and business subject matter experts
    • Participate in completion of technical documentation for Requirements, Functional Design, including as is or to be process flows, screen mock ups and use cases

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2+ years Visual Studio - Developing, deploying and supporting web based applications using Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment using C#
    • 2+ years using ASP.NET 4.0+ with Webforms and MVC (Model View Controller)
    • 2+ years SQL Server - Development and maintenance of relational databases integrated with Visual Studio web applications
    • 2+ years Javascript, JQuery, Javascript libraries and plugins, CSS Libraries (Bootstrap and Ajax) to enhance the user interface and experience of web based applications
    • Required to be onsite in Lansing, Michigan
    • Experience as Project Management/Project Lead direct and oversee work of web developers and business analysts, manage project deliverables, serve as liaison with project business owners

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience using version control software (Subversion, GitHub)
    • Experience in Agile Development methodology
    • Experience with Unit Testing tools
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
    • Experience in Health Care Industry, Medicaid data and/or State Government
    • Experience with Business analysis facilitating business requirements and specifications meetings and creating documentation for the development of web based solutions
    • Experience developing RESTful services - Writing, deploying and consuming Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Web APIs
    • Experience with Crystal Reports XI - Development and enhancement of business reports and charts using Crystal Reports integrated with relational databases (SQL Server or Teradata)
    • Experience developing Web Applications which utilize Teradata RDBMS
    • Experience developing with Telerik Control Toolkit
    • Experience using web application interface with LDAP, Microsoft SharePoint, Business Objects and FileNet
    • Experience Internet Information Services (IIS) configuration and management
    • Experience developing networking using TCP/IP
    • Experience using tools for web prototyping, including Protoshare
    • Experience as a Web Architect defining technical solutions for Web based applications to meet business needs
