Caregiver / Home Care Aide Visiting Angels

We are currently seeking caring, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers.

Job Responsibilities

As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical support and companionship to clients in their homes. Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with personal care and hygiene

Providing medication reminders

Assisting with ambulation and mobility

Preparing light meals according to dietary needs

Performing light housekeeping duties

Providing transportation to appointments, errands, and pharmacy visits

Offering companionship and emotional support

Monitoring client well-being and reporting changes to office staff

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license

Reliable transportation and current auto insurance

Ability to follow individualized care plans

Strong communication and active listening skills

Ability to remain calm in emergency situations

Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor

Minimum 1 year of caregiving or in-home care experience preferred

Preferred Skills

Experience with dementia care, mobility assistance, and transfers

Familiarity with equipment such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, walkers, and transfer benches (training available)

CPR certification preferred

Knowledge of health and safety standards

Strong time management and interpersonal skills
