Responsibilities WellStar Cobb Hospital is seeking an RN PRN nights (tier 2) to join the Med Surg Float team. The PRN Support Team position is designated for employees who are willing be available to supplement unit based core staffing to optimize patient care delivery models for an individual facilitys needs. The Flex Staffing version is intended to allow for incremental scheduling options (i.e. 4, 6, 8, 10 OR 12 hour shifts) based on the needs of the organization/facility. TOTAL HOURLY REQUIREMENT for Tier 2 PRN: Schedule a minimum of 48 hours TOTAL via open shifts per 4 week schedule period. TOTAL hours worked may be completed incremental scheduling options (i.e. 4, 6, 8, 10, OR 12 hour shifts) based on the needs of the organization. Of the 48 total required hours outlined above, schedule a minimum of 24 hours on weekend shifts per 4 week scheduling period. A shift scheduled between Friday 7p and Monday 7a will be considered a weekend shift. Schedule at least 12 hours on a Monday OR Friday during each 4- week scheduling period. Qualifications Required Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred; National certification in area of specialty preferred Required Minimum Licensure/Certification: Current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia; Must have a current BLScard from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment in position. Required Minimum Experience: Two years experience in Med Surg.
