Discover the Art of Living and Working WEL Responsibilities The Receptionist greets visitors, handles incoming calls, and performs general administrative duties. Also may assist other administrative staff with overflow work, including word processing, data entry and internet research tasks. The receptionist presents the face and the voice of Wesley Enhanced Living when greeting visitors and answering phone calls. Receptionist essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet persons entering building in a professional manner while restricting their access to the facility without proper escort Is alert and watchful of every person who enters the building through the main lobby. The receptionist may be the first one to alert security if there is a problem. Provide information on facilities and services, events and recreational activities within community Provide information about local attractions, travel routes and transportation schedules Handles questions about WEL or offers brochures with business information. Answer phones and transfer calls to the appropriate employees. Take messages and make sure they get to the appropriate employees. Accept and sign for packages and distribute mail. Make copies, collate, bind and staple, and file documents and reports as needed. Maintain a pleasant appearance of the reception area or lobby. Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances and the needs of the community and as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Related Experience: Minimum one year receptionist or customer service experience combined with one year general office experience Education or Degree Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Licenses, Certifications, Registrations: None Equal Opportunity Employer
