Performs clerical duties. Follow policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to WFH standards and behavior. Standard I Quality, Ethics and Integrity Standard II Service Standard III Relationships Standard IV Adaptability Standard V Development Standard VI Diversity The Nurse Intern will have a heavy workload - exert up to 100lbs occasionally, and/or 50ils frequently, and/or 20ils constantly. The Nurse Intern manages stress appropriately and can make decisions under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work in areas that are confined or crowded. The minimum requirements of this position require the individual to: stand, sit, walk, bend, lift, perform repetitive tasks, write , push, and pull frequently with weight limit of 50lbs or greater. Attendance is essential to this role Education : Current enrollment in an RN programs required, completion of the first medical/surgical class is required. Experience : None required. A minimum of one (1) year hospital experience is preferred. Skills/Abilities : Organizational, customer service, and communication skills in a detail-oriented, customer-focused organization are required. Basic computer skills are required.
