Job Description

• Primary technical liaison between client and AV service providers.
• Identify industry best practices and inspire the team to support them whenever possible.
• Provide project coordination between client and AV service providers.
• Provide system admin and technical support for complete Cisco room kit series, Polycom Group series, AMX, Crestron and other AV products.
• Provide technical delivery issues to network engineer for resolution.
• Provide on/offsite support for AV issues.
• Troubleshoot incidents, gather problem descriptions, log files, configuration data, and analyze them in order to determine root cause of problems and implement corrective actions/solutions.
• Process RMA part replacements and perform repair activities on AV/VTC system located at the customer sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all inventory and actions required to resolve issues.
• Travel to remote customer sites to provide integration support and training when required.
• Author documentation as needed for customer operations, service and technical procedures, recovery plans, and incident reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on AV integration skill, including installation and AMX programming experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with analyzing performance data and making recommendations on how to improve AV/VTC experience.
• Have experience with network performance tool such as Wireshark or PRTG to provide performance data about new or expanding systems.
• Knowledge of SIP, H.320, and H.323 video protocols.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical (users), as well as interface with users on a daily basis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• InfoComm, and relative industry certifications are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of data network technologies
