Management of daily Logistics operations for the organization's US facilities -- ability to take leadership role for any & all assigned locations/lanes/transportation modes
Development and implementation of optimization strategies facilitating inter-departmental communication with Warehousing, Supply Chain, Sales & Customer Service functions
Support development and implementation of cost reduction and efficiency strategies to facilitate organizational growth in key areas, including improvements in transportation/distribution modes & routing, development of carrier partnerships
Lead the digitalization of Logistics operation; and evaluation/implementation of potential TMS solutions and/or other new logistics technologies
Emphasis on optimizing quality of outcomes relating to on-time deliveries, customer satisfaction and maintenance of cold chain requirements, including prompt resolution of discrepancies/claims
Data management -- emphasis on maintenance of freight database and timely & accurate interface with Accounting; performance of monthly closing a key. Support development & management of Logistics KPIs and analysis of budgets/expenditures
Supervision of support staff with an emphasis on providing quality and accuracy in work product
Salary: $75K to 85K a year DOE

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field required
5 years' experience in logistics function, preferably in a perishable environment
Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles
Familiarity or experience with implementing new technologies for digital transformation in the field a plus
Familiarity with computer (ERP/TMS/WMS) systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, analytical/problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Position requires ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment and the ability to perform complex tasks with consistent accuracy while following established procedures
