Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Design test scenarios and plan for feature releases
• Investigate defects including what is failing and where is it failing
• Design and maintain automated tests that provide functional, regression and integration test coverage for services
• Responsible for identifying infrastructure related issues and triage them appropriately to right team
• Document/File defects and determine root cause analysis for issues
• Analyze logs and provide insights to devs for defect clusters
• Represent test in product and development team meetings

Qualifications

BACKGROUND & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of testing and automation experience
• Good coding skills in one or more Object Oriented programming languages: C# OR Java
• Experience in testing and strategy design for micro-services on distributed systems
• Background in backend API testing and performance testing processes and tools
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Proven track record of test planning and test metrics generation for web applications and services layer
• Understanding of automation tests with stub and mocked data from integrated systems
• Hands-on experience with one or more relational databases and SQL
• Strives to implement Agile Testing Quadrants
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
