This position will receive purchase requests; issue request for quotes/proposals; evaluate quotes/offers for best price, delivery, and other evaluation criteria; issue, administer, modify, perform cost analyses and close out orders and blanket orders; research available suppliers, set up and maintain file documentation to procurement standards and government regulations.

Required Skills

• Exceptionally proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of the FAR.

• Exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple efforts.

Required Experience

• Bachelors and 3 years related work experience in DOD purchasing or 7 years of direct DOD purchasing experience

• Exceptionally proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of the FAR.
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple efforts.
