    Job Description

    As the General Manager of Xplor’s Fitness and Wellbeing vertical in North America, you will be a key contributor for the Global Fitness and Wellbeing leadership team and work with the SVPs of Product, Marketing and Engineering to drive commercial performance in the North America region. As part of this role, you will lead the North American business – responsible for overall performance, new business wins, customer retention, and support.

    Key products in your portfolio include Xplor Mariana Tek, Xplor Triib (Boutique Fitness software products) as well as Xplor Recreation and Xplor Gym. You will be directly responsible for several hundred Xplorers in the North America region and be a key member of the Global Fitness and Wellbeing Leadership team. You will report directly to the CEO Fitness and Wellbeing, representing the voice of the customer in your region and being a key external-facing representative of Xplor in the Fitness Industry and in North America.

    LOCATION: Remote within the domestic US. Must be willing to conduct business related travel.

    KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    Commercial Performance in North America

    • Accountable for sustained double digit revenue growth and contribution margin from the North American region from our portfolio of software, payments, and CATs, meeting targets agreed jointly with the Xplor Executive
    • Lead the teams winning new business in the region, delivering against targets in the markets in which Xplor competes
    • Retain and expand revenue with Xplor existing customers in the North America region, which includes some of the most well know brands in the Fitness industry. As part of this, collaborate with the Regional GMs of Europe and APAC to manage our portfolio of global brands.
    • Work with key stakeholders to effectively deploy strategic revenue growth initiatives, including cross- and up-sell campaigns, pricing, and marketing activities.

    Strategy & Vision

    • Develop a vision and set the strategic direction for Fitness & Wellbeing in North America, collaborating closely with the SVPs of Product and Marketing to define unique points of differentiation and strategy
    • Ensure a deep understanding of Fitness industry trends in North America and translate this into implications for Xplor’s Fitness and Wellbeing strategy, in North American and more globally
    • Own budget planning for North American on, quarterly, 1 year and 3-year time horizons

    Collaboration and Leadership

    • Act as the central leadership figure in North America, bringing together different functions (sales, marketing, operations, product) to deliver against ambitious plans
    • Mentor and manage the sales and operations teams, being prepared to adapt the operating model in an agile way as the business expands, including potentially entering new sub-markets
    • Drive scalable and efficient process and ways of working improvements in sales and operations teams
    • Carefully manage investments in sales and marketing and support to effectively deliver growth whilst maintaining improvements in the contribution margin from North America.
    • Build a winning culture in North America, driving engagement with Xplorers in the region
    • Be a proactive evangelist for Xplor in the Fitness industry, driving customer engagement and raising our profile
    • Support the perception of Xplor as an Innovative company with customers, Xplorers and investors
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 10+ years of experience working in commercial-facing roles.
    • 5+ years in senior/executive commercial leadership roles.
    • Experience in SaaS or related industries essential.
    • Experience in the fitness sector preferred.
    • Able to execute on an ambitious plan, engaging customers and Xplorers.
    • Experience leading commercial and operational teams through transformational change.
    • Experience in scaling growth businesses and operating models.
    • Team player with focus on relationship building and leading across business boundaries
    • The ability to effectively lead and motivate teams across a variety of functional roles, and work in matrixed organization.
    • Strong track-record of attracting and developing high performing teams.
    • Demonstrated experience in building customer centric relationships, in a global environment.
    • Ability to lead a transformation with multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven change agent and a strong strategic thinker.
    • Proven track record of clear communications with C-suite stakeholders and across cross-functional teams.
    • Proven experience in data-driven decision making using KPIs and metrics.
