Schedule : Monday - Friday (Full-time)

Position Overview:

Provides substance abuse counseling and support services to juvenile offenders admitted into the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice Treatment Program

Responsibilities:

• Completes intakes and assessments as needed
• Provides individual and group counseling
• Completes treatment planning and other required clinical documentation in accordance with contractual requirements and licensing regulations
• Provides case management services and coordination of the youth's treatment
• Develops post-release plans
• Participates in staff growth and development activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related field
• Experience with offender populations preferred
• Experience with juveniles preferred
• Must meet professional staff qualifications as required by 77 Illinois Administrative Code 2060.309 within two years of employment
