Come join us and #BeCode42 WHAT YOULL BE DOING: Code42 is looking for an intern to join the Security Team for the summer of 2019. The Security intern will work directly with the Code42 Security team to define effective Security metrics for the entire security organization. This intern will work with all functional areas of the Security team to learn what should be measured, how it should be measured, and how to communicate Security accomplishments, as well identify future needs through comprehensive metrics. YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR : Working with Code42 Security leads to determine what tools/processes they currently track and whats coming on the roadmap Working with security team leads to determine how to best congregate their individual metrics to tell a comprehensive story Developing a compelling program that meets Code42 objectives and enhances security at Code42 SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of a 4 year college degree, preferably in the Security field AND 1-3 years of professional experience OR a combination of training and relevant work experience Ability to collaborate with partners across the team to develop a successful metrics program Solid understanding of security policies and standards An enthusiasm for all aspects of Security; physical, cyber, awareness/training, vendor security, etc. Understanding of Code42 products (including Forensic File Search) PREFERRED: CISSP Certification (or in process) Master of Science in Security Technologies (MSST) (or in process) STANDARD COMPETENCIES: General knowledge and understanding of technology Foundational understanding of Security program pillars Collaboration with internal partners Experience with Microsoft products, especially Excel Experience with or knowledge of Tableau (or willingness to learn)
