    Key Account Sales Consultant-Houston--Gulf Freeway Location: Houston-300 Job Code: D073018 # of Openings: 1 Description JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Key Accounts Sales Consultant Reports to: Key Accounts Sales Manager Classification: Exempt Position Summary: The Key Accounts Sales Consultant (KASC) is responsible for achieving sales goals by obtaining business from established and targeted accounts consistent with Ace Marts definition of Key and Strategic Accounts. This position manages and grows a portfolio of customers and is proficient in selling all aspects of Ace Marts values and offerings. The KASC will be the point of contact for all key account matters, will anticipate the customers needs, will work with the company to ensure deadlines for customers are met, and will help the key account customer succeed. The KASC will also bring in new business from existing customers or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential customers. All employees are expected to adhere to Ace Mart business philosophy, guidelines and policies as laid out in the Ace Mart mission statement , Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures Manual and Safety Program. Responsibilities : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Manage and maintain the key client accounts. Act as liaison and single point of contact with major customers. Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs. Establish, develop and maintain positive relationships. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction. Achieve established sales targets and outcomes within agreed upon timeline. Collaborate with your market, department and other sales channels to ensure the customers needs are met. Keep abreast of industry and market trends and use that information to better meet the customers needs. Develop knowledge and awareness of competing products/services, discount and pricing structures, and overall strengths and weaknesses to determine how best to service and motivate key accounts to continue their partnership with Ace Mart. Collaborate and train store personnel to ensure the effectiveness of the Ambassador program. Perform other duties assigned by the Key Accounts Sales Manager. Noisy atmosphere (phones, trucks, overhead pages, fans, etc.) High exposure to dust. Physical Demands Pass a pre-employment physical exam and drug screening. Stand and walk up to eight (8) hours daily. Lift and lower boxes and objects 35 from the floor. 1-25 pounds 25 times daily 26-50 pounds 10 times daily Bend and stoop daily. Operate a CRT up to four hours daily. Communicate via telephone and email daily. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel This position requires travel. Frequently travel is within the local area. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Two years combined sales or industry experience.
