All About Kids in Orange county is currently hiring Certified Special Education Teachers for our Early Intervention Program (EIP) evaluation services. DUTIES

• Must conduct Evaluations IN-PERSON ONLY using appropriate testing tools allowed by NYS (DAYC-2 is the most commonly used tool; others are acceptable)
• Must Submit an English and/or Bilingual summary report containing all evaluation findings
• The Special Educator is the Lead on the evaluation case and responsible for completing a Summary of all reports and evaluation findings.
• Collaboration with other evaluators on the case and therapists, as well as with families, parents, school/daycare providers to ensure cohesive a valid descriptions of the child's functioning and abilities
• The opportunity also exists to cover meetings as an AAK Representative with school districts and the Department of Health to review reports/findings and assist in developing a plan for each child at additional compensation.

REQUIREMENTS

MS and New York State teaching certification in either:

• Special Education Permanent
• Students with Disabilities Birth-Grade 2

Access to testing tools, materials, and protocols for evaluations

Reliable transportation, driver's license, car insurance

Bilingual in Spanish is a major plus!

Excellent writing skills, time management, punctuality, and readiness to work!
