  • Responsibilities

    The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for working closely with the Billing Department to ensure the w9 and w2 therapist pending payments are accurate. This position is responsible for processing the company's independent contractor payments with ‘fee-for-service' and hourly w9s on a semi-monthly and monthly basis. This position manages the payment inquiries of our w9 workers and provides assistance to those individuals. This position also manages time reporting for w2 therapist employees and collaborates with the Human Resources Department to ensure they have the accurate resources to complete w2 payroll. 

    The Accounts Payable Administrator should have strong technical knowledge and analytical skills, while ensuring meticulous records, and compliance with company policies, government regulations and reporting requirements. This position is flexible part-time 20 hours per week. 

    All About Kids follows strict COVID protocols for the safety of our clients and employees. A mixture of in-office and at home work is required of this position at this time. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure that providers are paid accurately to comply with company, divisional, corporate, and government policies and procedures.
    • Ensure accurate payment tables and calculation controls, regularly self-auditing.
    • Checks calculations provided for ‘fee-for-service' providers from billing department to assure accuracy and proper payment.
    • Manages the communication, correspondence, and actions of the finance department when discrepancies related to provider payments are discovered.
    • Communicates & collaborates regularly with the Billing Team, HR, and other AAK staff members regarding 1099 accounts payable calendar, issues, procedures, reports, and any other applicable announcements.
    • Answers therapists' questions courteously and professionally at all times; providing the utmost superior customer service and deferring to HR when appropriate.
    • Audits payroll register to ensure changes were made and payroll is accurate before it is final.
    • Collaborates on other projects with Finance and HR as instructed by the Finance and HR Directors and/or President.

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
    • 3+ years of experience in payroll or accounts payables processing in a large organization (300+ associates) required
    • Meticulous personality accustomed to self-auditing for pinpoint accuracy essential.
    • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience with internal customer service is key to this role.
    • Computer: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Zoom; Kronos, Claims, and HR Cloud experience a plus.
    • Timely personality, detail and deadline oriented.
    • Must be a team player willing to roll up your sleeves when a fellow teammate needs your help.
