Compensation: Depending on experience, $80,000 - $100,000 base + incentives 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm CT

Service Manager Responsibilities:

Service Department

• Lead and support the Service team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Ensure customers receive prompt, professional, and courteous service—acting as a liaison between technicians and customers to create a positive experience.
• Oversee workflow by assigning and prioritizing work, managing rental/courtesy vehicles, and ensuring staff meet Walser and manufacturer standards.
• Support staff growth and career development
• Handle payroll, incentive reporting, and other department operations as needed.

Parts Department

• Manage inventory and procurement of parts, maintaining accurate records and optimal stock levels.
• Oversee ordering, pricing, and supplier negotiations to ensure availability of quality parts at the best value.

We're Looking For:

• Minimum one year service writing experience
• Must have strong data entry skills to enter information onto the computer and other warranty systems
• Ability to operate current computer software (Word, Excel, Manufacturer website, etc.)
• Prior supervisory or management experience a plus
• Excellent phone and computer skills
• ADP experience highly desired
• A good understanding of automotive parts and cars is desired
• Ability to assess and report on warranty repairs
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be extremely detail oriented
• Must have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment
• Customer service mentality and professional demeanor
  
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
