Admin Assistant / Hospitality Intern Broughton Hospitality Group - Monterey, CA Temporary, Internship Best Western De Anza Inn, one of the Broughton Hotel properties is offering an internship program that enables the student(s) to interact with each department amongst the hotel. Broughton Hotels wants the student to experience all the working pieces of a hotel and understand their importance. This is a 30-40 hour a week internship that requires the student to have living accommodations and transportation set up. This 12 week detailed program involves all departments of the hotel: Front Desk, Accounting, Human Resources, Housekeeping, Sales and marketing, and Engineering. It allows the student to get involved with each department and understand their role/function. The intern has the ability to work next to the department heads and see what it takes to get to that position. The final weeks consist of understanding the General Manager's role in leading a strong team and successful hotel. During the internship, the student/intern must complete a project that will be assigned at the beginning of the internship.
