Our family of restaurants includes Outback Steakhouse, Carrabbas Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Flemings Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. Together, these unique, Founder-inspired restaurant concepts that deliver exceptional quality and welcoming hospitality make up Bloomin Brands, Inc. We are one of the world's largest casual dining companies with approximately 95,000 Team Members and more than 1,500 restaurants throughout 48 states, Puerto Rico, Guam and 21 countries. Our interns must be eager to learn our business. They will have the opportunity to apply their educational and work-related experience to practical business issues. This hands-on, real-world program will expose the intern to current industry trends, activities and strategies and allow them to learn a variety of business marketing tactics and functions. Position Overview and Requirements * Leverage National campaigns/messages to be relevant at the local level * Develop BFG Ambassador Playbook & Toolbox * Local social and email management * Help field with local marketing requests and track activities Requirements of the successful candidate: * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Must have experience creating presentations and delivering recommendations * Self-starter who is able to take initiative on projects to move them forward * Collaborative and able to work with a cross-functional team * Organized and able to handle multiple projects and timelines to successful completion * Must be pursuing a college degree with a marketing / communications concentration * Must be analytical and able to gather insights and develop recommendations * Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. * Must be able to commit to a 10-12 week internship (May through August) * Work 25-30 hours per week during the internship * Must be available to work in Tampa, Florida without housing assistance Qualifications Skills Behaviors : Motivations : Education Experience Licenses & Certifications
