The Spa Esthetician are not only responsible for creating an amazing and comfortable guest experience, but they must always take the time to keep their work area spotless and sanitary. Spa Esthetician are expected to provide prompt, expert, and courteous service to all guest while performing various skin care protocols, waxing, and body treatments. - To provide excellent service consistent with Aliante Hotel+Casino+Spa 4 Diamond Service Standards and brand attributes. - Proactively acknowledge, greet, and offer support to team members in a professional manner to foster and promote a supportive and harmonious work environment. - Have the ability to multi-task in a position which will require you to attend to a multi-line telephone, assist guest with checking in and/or out, and maintain the cleanliness of the spa facilities. - Completes and performs duties as indicated on the opening and closing checklist. - Sells retail products to meet monthly retail goals. - Initiates, encourages, and upsells treatment enhancements to meet monthly goals. - Anticipates guests needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests. - Provides spa guests with a comfortable and relaxing spa experience while ensuring the utmost safety for our guests. - Performs all skin care protocols, waxing, and body treatments in accordance to established department policies, practices, and procedures. - Begins and completes all services on time while maintaining courteous behavior to all guests and team members. - Own all guest request, concerns and complaints; resolve issues immediately to guest satisfaction. - Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and standards. - Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquires. - Identify and report defects throughout the Spa; notify spa management immediately of hazards, injuries, equipment or processes that can negatively impact business operations. - Maintains all equipment and job-related materials; ensures treatment rooms are cleaned and supplies stocked. - Follows all guidelines of spa handbook. - Performs all other job-related duties as requested. Position Requirements: - Required: - Must have and maintain a current state license in Aesthetics or Cosmetology. - Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations. - Must be able to set up all proper equipment for all menu services. - Working knowledge of skin care lines for professional usage and sales. - Must have experience in product retailing. - 1 year of guest service experience. - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. - Professional appearance and demeanor. - Availability to work varied shifts, nights and weekends. - High School diploma or equivalent. Physical, Mental, and Work Environment: - Must be able to maneuver in and around the spa and salon facilities. - Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, crouch and stoop when working in the spa and salon facilities. - Must be able to stand for long periods of time. - Must be able to operate the following office equipment: computer, photo copier, machine, and telephone. - Respond to verbal and oral clues. - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Preferred: - Previous experience working in a similar environment.
