Responsible for the delivery of team member, supervisory and management training and development programs. Conducts needs analysis to identify specialized training needs. Monitors and evaluates the progress, effectiveness and impact of training and development programs and department trainers; makes recommendations for improvement. Conducts career discussions with employees using tuition reimbursement to encourage them to pursue a supervisor/manager position when completed. ** ** ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Conducts employee, supervisor and management training and development programs. * Conducts needs analysis to determine specialized training needs on property. * Monitors and evaluates the progress and effectiveness of training and development programs and makes recommendations for improvement. * Designs and produces training aids (i.e. case studies, simulations, games, exercises, etc.) and support material. * Develops, in conjunction with department management, technical job skills and customer service training. * Works with departments to ensure all training materials are accurate and well maintained. * Advises and assists with design of instructional systems to facilitate department needs. * Functions as an internal consultant to assist management in the analysis and identification of organizational issues and development. * Responsible for project management, establishing and meeting timelines, attention to detail and follow-through. * Effectively represents Caesars Entertainment to groups of employees, applicants, counterparts in the industry, management and outside organizations as needed. ** ** QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be 21 years of age or older. * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, or related subject preferred. * Minimum of three years of instructional design and/or technical writing experience preferred. Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources or related field preferred. * Two years training/facilitating experience or hotel/casino operations experience required. * Experience conducting needs analysis strongly preferred. * Knowledge of training assessment, design, delivery and evaluation preferred. Demonstrated ability to train/educate adults. * Demonstrated familiarity with Instructional Design and Courseware Development principles (ADDIE) * Technical writing, training, performance measuring, multimedia, curriculum and course development experience * Proficiency with Microsoft software to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. * Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization. Excellent presentation and organizational skills required. * Ability to maintain long range goals without sacrificing follow through on details. * Must present a well groomed appearance * Support training materials using company styles, standards, and development tools * Excellent presentation and organizational skills required. * Ability to work independently or on a team. * Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule. * Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
