National Casino Marketing Host JOB SUMMARY: Partners with NCM Manager in supporting Bus Operations, NCM /Air programs for Harrahs/Horseshoe Council Bluffs. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: * Responsible for targeting, developing, and assessing new business relationships within the NCM Corporate Network, Bus Operations and Air Programs to effectively meet required sales benchmarks. · Coordinates reservations, tour and travel arrangements, commercial seat blocks, splinter air groups, and group and representative coding for Charter Program players. · Arranges incentive packets for arrival of charter groups; meets and welcomes incoming groups, and participates in social events and special promotions. · Assists with all group sales, junket and NCM sales initiatives. · Maintains reservation and Junket representative files. * Ensures seamless hand off of guest pre-trip itinerary for flawless on property execution by VIP Hospitality Team. * Responds to and consistently meets the needs of clients. * Provide client/customer feedback to enhance service levels and increase revenues. * Identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service. * Clearly communicates programs/services to necessary people, seeks their support and keeps them informed of changes that may impact the business. * Must be knowledgeable of all happenings on property and in market. * Keeps track of existing products/services and/or progress on new initiatives. * Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy. * Presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same. * Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: _ * College degree preferred. * Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated success in selling. A preference is given to related fields such as hospitality, business services, leisure, gaming, marketing services, advertising or public relations sales. * Minimum 1 year Casino Marketing experience preferred QUALIFICATIONS: * Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and within the sales process. * Ability to prepare, understand, and analyze Budget and P&L Statements. * Good oral and written communication skills including tact when dealing with difficult customers, must be fluent and literate in English. * Ability to think independently in making decisions to maximize customer service experience and program profitability. * Ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. * Must be proficient with customer contact systems. * Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. * Must have a systematic and process oriented mindset to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experiences. * Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational ability._ __ * Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Access and Microsoft Outlook. * Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors. * Ability to stand and walk, and mobility to move easily around entire property for entire shift.
