  • Responsibilities

    This is a part-time position, which may be developed into a full-time position pending program growth/needs.  It is a high-ranking position with responsibilities in specific programs/levels.  Background must include proven work with the higher Jr Levels 7-10.  Reports to the Manager & Head Coach of the competitive teams, the position requires an individual with outstanding leadership qualities, excellent staff relations, strong communication skills, and the ability to assist all involved with the advancement of girls/women’s gymnastics.  

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF GIRLS OPTIONAL PROGRAM LEVEL’S 7-10 AND THE TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT AT THE ASSIGNED TRAINING FACILITY

    • Aid in the development of coaches/athletes and in the identification of athletes as assigned.
    • This position is the Technical Coach of girls gymnastics.
    • Assist the Head Coach in the coordination of girls team training and schedules around/with other programs within the facility
    • Maintain up to date understanding of the rules of the Levels for the athletes to be prepared to participate competitively – locally; Regionally; Nationally; Collegiately 
    • Maintain all appropriate certifications to be an expert leader in the community and in the sport. 
    • Expertise in, and previous background training, Level’s 9-10.  Collegiate experience would be a plus.

    MEETINGS AND COMMUNICATION:

    • Meet regularly with the Manager/Head Coach for program updates.
    • Must be a good communicator, outgoing, and forward thinking.
    • Assist in annual program reviews specific to the program goals and expectations. 
    • Assist in staff development, athlete testing and regular evaluations of developing athletes striving to reach L8-10 and College level.

    MAINTAIN AN UNDERSTANDING OF CURRENT CSC POLICIES AND PROCEDURES; OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:

    • Annually read, review, and support the Makings of a Team Member document.
    • Assist in the Marketing of the girls program through occasional local demonstrations / speeches / Social Media. 
    • Support CSC’s mission, vision, and values and work with the management team.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
    • Must be CPR & First Aid Certified within the first 30 days of employment
