Summer Internship Program:

This isn't summertime busywork - At Choice, every intern becomes an integral part of our team...and gets paid for it!

Our uniquely designed program offers interns valuable exposure into the hospitality industry and the operating structure of a leading organization in this space. Our comprehensive program promotes growth through various opportunities including: practical work experience and participation in a critical business project in a chosen field, learning and networking opportunities with senior leaders, and an intern-led service project supporting our corporate social responsibility initiative. This program is designed to provide students with an enriched experience in corporate dynamics, collaboration and their individual areas of interest.

The role…

Cambria Suites Brand & Ascend Upscale Team. This team provides direct Design & Construction support to open Cambria hotels and hotels under construction.

Current Initiatives in which the intern may be engaged:

• Brand Repositioning
• 3D design & implications to existing hotels
• Interior Design
• New product and amenities program
• Conversion support or adaptive re-use support.
• Renovation of existing hotels.

What you will do…

The intern will directly support a Cambria Design & Construction team. The intern, as directed, will be responsible to researching and updating information, support the creation of presentations and data entry.

Additionally, the intern may be tasked with working with other departments or vendors to address specific needs of a given project. The intern may be asked to coordinate and participate in meetings and work sessions.

Skills you have…

• The intern will need the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Strong writing, communication, computer and internet skills will be beneficial
• Flexibility of work hours may be needed. While the standard schedule will be 9 – 5, there may be days when earlier or later hours may be required due to business demands.
• It is preferred if the intern has experience or completed college level class work in one of more of the following areas:
• Architecture
• Interior Design
• Hotel/Restaurant Management
• Project Management
