This Internship Program is a great way to jumpstart your career. Interns will work in one of a number of key areas in Canteen’s Operation team, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, which could include:
Areas of focus:
Menu Development/Planning – Assist with managing recipes, ingredients, yield analysis, nutrition
Procurement – Gain experience with an introduction into procurement of proper product(s)
Supply Chain – Assist with managing proper supply chain of products into the warehouse(s) & routing of finished product(s) to the internal/external customer
Operations – Introduction into operations, sales, marketing, and even some finance.
Management – Learn how to manage people and the business
Upon successful completion of the internship, and with your unit’s recommendation, you may be offered a position to join us in your career after graduation as a Manager in Training Program Trainee
Education and Experience:
To be eligible for our internship, you should be in your junior year, on your way to earning a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferred, in Culinary, Nutrition, Dietetic, and/or Hospitality. A cumulative 3.0 GPA minimum is preferred. All majors will be considered for this opportunity.
