We are looking for the first generation of people to help us pioneer a new path for companies and their employees to purchase hotels for business travel. RoomIt, the startup hotel division of managed business travel leader, Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), is seeking a UX Research Intern. Join our growing, globally-distributed team, where you will work with UX researchers, designers, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to plan and execute studies, analyze results, and develop actionable recommendations that help improve the user experience of millions of business travelers. Develop your personal toolkit through support of a variety of research methods, including one-on-one usability tests, user interviews, surveys, and data analysis. As part of the User Experience team, you will further your research knowledge and expertise as you: · Assist with the collection and analysis of user behavior through data analysis, online experiments (A/B testing), lab studies, and surveys · Develop test plans and moderation guides · Translate insights into actionable recommendations · Support communication of ongoing UX metrics -Progress toward a Bachelors or Masters degree in design, HCI, psychology, sociology, anthropology, or related field -Knowledge of research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing -Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative -Strong communication and presentation skills -Knowledge of interaction design and prototyping tools such as Marvel, InVision, and Axure, a plus. **Primary Location: **US-IL-Chicago **Work Locations: ** **Job: **Information Technology **Organization: **Carlson **Job Type: **Internship **Job Posting: **Oct 22, 2018 **Shift: **Day Job **Travel: **No
