Compensation: $63,000 - $72,000 annually DOE, excellent long-term growth opportunities

Summary:

Walser Automotive Group may sell and service vehicles, but it’s not your typical dealership group. Walser is seeking a Communications & Engagement Specialist to help share the story of what makes the company an employer of choice—highlighting long-term career growth, inclusive culture, and industry-leading innovation.

This role will develop internal communications that connect employees to Walser’s values, mission, and broader impact. The right candidate will be a strategic writer and natural connector, comfortable turning a few key points into meaningful messaging. The role requires someone who can collaborate across teams, engage directly with employees across locations, and bring Walser’s culture to life through thoughtful storytelling.

Primary Responsibilities:

Communications:

• Write and manage internal content including newsletters, intranet posts, blog articles, and press releases
• Support content for Walser’s careers site and Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
• Collaborate with the creative team to guide messaging and layout for internal-facing materials
• Maintain and update editorial calendars and intranet content

Engagement & Events:

• Coordinate internal events supporting employee engagement and DEI initiatives
• Create pre- and post-event communications, including sign-up messaging and follow-ups
• Capture and curate stories, photos, and video from Walser locations
• Monitor performance and engagement metrics; provide regular reporting and insights
• Support Walser Foundation volunteer events and related communications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• 2–3 years of experience in communications, journalism, or related content creation roles
• Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style
• Strong interpersonal communication and project management abilities
• Interest in and willingness to learn about automotive industry trends, HR, and DEI
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment; highly organized, adaptable, and self-directed.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with content or marketing tools is a plus
