    Job Description

    The Construction Specialist supports the Construction Managers and Regional Directors by providing administrative leadership of the development process from due diligence phase through the warranty administration phase. The Specialist is a key player in the execution of new Restaurant projects and is the subject matter expert for project management technology solutions.

    Your Impact and Responsibilities:

    • Manage project set up, document control, schedule updates, and financial processes including the creation and processing of purchase orders, change orders, and invoices
    • Coordinate payment of general contractor pay applications in connection with developer draw request schedules and payment terms
    • Prepare all construction buy out vendor proposals according to schedule
    • Review all proposals for accuracy prior to circulating for approval and internal signatures
    • Support the maintenance of CAPEX forecasts in Lucernex and audit and close out CAPEX projects
    • Collect and track all developer reimbursable draw requests and submit them to the Accounting team while coordinating all required developer documentation
    • Support development turnover by managing documents required for Restaurant delivery
    • Provide information and complete documents as needed such as utility applications, licenses, and permits
    • Resolve issues quickly and contribute to system and process improvements
    • Support landlord estoppel requests, miscellaneous landlord requests, and the onboarding of new Crewmembers or vendors as needed
    • Support additional tasks or projects as needed
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in development, construction, or real estate
    • Basic understanding of construction processes, plan sets, and permitting
    • Ability to work with web-based systems and quickly learn new systems and processes
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple, shifting priorities
    • Strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to deliver within tight deadlines
    • Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in a Restaurant, retail, or multi-unit development environment
    • Experience working with Lucernex or a similar project management system
