    Job Description

    The Development Finance Manager supports restaurant development by providing actionable financial analysis using strong business acumen and communication skills. This role collaborates with functional leaders to drive performance improvements and ensure financial success. The position provides regular updates to senior leadership on key business opportunities and performs ad hoc analyses relevant to broader company operations.

    Your Impact and Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with Real Estate, Design, Construction, and Facilities to identify financial opportunities and challenges
    • Provide clear and actionable recommendations based on findings
    • Monitor development cost and schedule trends across restaurants
    • Generate financial and functional reporting and analysis packages on a regular cadence
    • Deliver commentary on financial results, key trends, and forecasts, including:
      • Monthly and quarterly departmental reviews and reports
      • Construction commodity, contractor, and supplier cost trends
      • Project post-audit processes
      • Remodel and renewal program analysis
      • Tenant improvement allowance, surplus property, and dead deal analytics
    • Support quality control of project budgets and evaluation of new development opportunities
    • Assist in implementing and supporting technology enhancements in Lucernex, data warehouse, and reporting tools
    • Partner with FP&A and company leaders to prepare financial performance presentations
    • Support other duties as assigned

    Travel Requirements:

    Up to 10%

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of finance experience, preferably within the restaurant or retail industry
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
    • Proficient in various technology systems and able to adapt quickly
    • Demonstrated ability to extract, analyze, and present data effectively
    • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Development or construction experience
    • MBA or CPA
