    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY   

    Under supervision, the Bell/Valet Runner transports luggage to/from guestrooms and informs members, owners and guests of all resort services and features while being responsible for attending to immediate needs upon arrival and follow-through attention throughout stay. 

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Assists with movement of luggage and other related items upon arrival and departure.
    • Responsible for assisting and providing information pertaining to the resort, including outlets and special features.
    • Maintains proper working conditions and cleanliness of the Bell/Valet Department equipment and related work areas.
    • Maintains security of baggage and key storage area.
    • Inspects for damages before taking control of a vehicle.
    • Issues and collects guests claim tickets, which must contain name, license plate number, and location of vehicle.
    • Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
    • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    EDUCATION

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    EXPERIENCE

    • A minimum of one (1) year of experience required.
    • No supervisory experience required.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

    LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS

    • Driver’s License (non-commercial) – must be state specific.

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices.  Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.

     

    Specific skills and abilities include, but are not limited to the following:
