Working on projects such as Halo: Outpost Discovery, National Geographic’s award-winning Becoming Jane exhibition, IMG Worlds of Adventure in Dubai, and many more, Falcon’s prides itself on delivering immersive, one-of-a-kind experiences. We are looking to expand our family of talented creators to help us push the boundaries of what is possible.
Our newest animator will work closely with the animation team and creative leads to create compelling and high-quality animations that help achieve the team’s vision for unique and high-profile 3D animated projects. This job is based in our office in Orlando, Florida. Applicant must either live in the area or be willing to move to Central Florida and work from the office daily.
Essential Functions:
Produce various styles of animations for characters, creatures, cameras, vehicles, props, etc.
Develop animations in a fast-paced environment with an iterative workflow.
Identify creative and technical issues and elevate solutions to appropriate team members.
Interpret feedback and modify animations accordingly.
Communicate development status and forecasts.
Meet project deadlines set by production.
Maintain high security standards for confidential studio assets.
Qualifications:
Must have a degree in animation or comparable experience, with at least two years of experience working as an animator.
Exhibit a wide range of character animation and acting skills including timing, anticipation, follow-through, squash and stretch, forward and inverse kinematics.
Solid understanding of the principles of cinematography including camera and lens work.
Team player with great communication skills and a “can-do” attitude.
Experience with motion capture is a plus.
Capable of taking direction and willingness to address comments and make changes.
Willingness to learn new abilities/skills and assist the company in other areas as needed.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
Will not require Falcon’s Treehouse, LLC to commence (“sponsor”) an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).

Software Proficiency:
Experience animating in Maya is required.
Experience using anim bot is a strong plus.
Shotgrid (Shotgun) knowledge is a strong plus.
Microsoft Office suite is a strong plus.
