The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing, establishing, executing, coordinating, and managing all marketing strategies for all restaurant concepts within the Grove Bay Hospitality Group (“Grove Bay”) portfolio. The Director of Marketing will manage the Sales & Events Manager, the Digital Marketing Manager, Social Media Coordinator and Graphic Designer. The role is responsible for meeting established sales and marketing objectives and the effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization, while ensuring the brand integrity of each concept is upheld and properly represented. Responsibilities:
Marketing:
Directly oversee and manage the development and implementation of the Strategic Marketing Plans for all restaurants, the Grove Bay entity, and projects for new and existing restaurants
Directly oversee and manage the creation and implementation of all branding, collateral, promotional materials, advertising creative, menu design, and general graphic design, with the assistance of the Graphic Designer
Directly oversee and manage the execution and coordination of all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities
Directly oversee and manage the public relations firm to maximize press for all marketing and promotional activations
Sales:
Oversee and manage all private event sales, through Sales & Events Manager
Directly oversee and manage all offsite promotional events
Directly oversee and manage OpenTable, EventBrite, Asana, Venga, and SinglePlatform
Directly oversee and manage the Reservations department
Advertising:
Oversee and manage all print advertising relationships and efforts
Oversee and manage all social media, paid search, and digital display advertising efforts, through Digital Marketing Manager
Oversee and manage all SEO/SEM efforts, through Digital Marketing Manager
Oversee 3rd party social media platforms (i.e., Yelp, TripAdvisor, Google My Business, etc.), through Digital Marketing Manager
Oversee and manage the website content, hours, location, pop‐ups and general information
Oversee and manage the email campaign software (i.e., MailChimp), email lists and campaign strategy
Social Media:
Oversee and manage content creation including generating interactive content, creating contests, handling customers complaints, and engaging with guests, through Social Media Coordinator
Oversee and manage the execution of the social media strategy, including in‐feed posts, story posts, scheduling, engagement, and reporting metrics, through Social Media Coordinator
Administration:
Create and manage the marketing and advertising budgets
Create and manage key performance metrics and reporting for social media, paid search and digital display advertising, Google analytics,
Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration
Minimum 5+ years of managerial experience in marketing function, in hospitality industry
Hospitality experience is required
