Red Rooster, a renowned fine dining restaurant in Overtown, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Barback to join our team. As a Barback, you will be crucial in supporting our bartenders and ensuring smooth operations in the bar area. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

Bar Support:

Assist bartenders in preparing and organizing the bar area.

Stocking bar supplies, including glassware, utensils, and garnishes.

Cleaning and maintaining the bar equipment and work areas.

Ensuring a sufficient supply of ice, mixers, and other essential ingredients.

Beverage Service:

Assist in the preparation of specialty cocktails, drinks, and beverages.

Serve beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner.

Clear empty glasses and dishes from the bar area.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Assist in answering guest questions and making recommendations when necessary.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and restock inventory as needed, ensuring proper stock levels.

Collaborate with the bar manager to track inventory and report any shortages or discrepancies.

Cleanliness and Sanitation:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the bar top, sinks, and surrounding areas.

Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Barback or in a similar role is preferred.

Knowledge of bar equipment and basic bartending techniques.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
