    **Basic Purpose of Position : **


    The purpose of this position is to manage and support the organization’s staffing and recruitment processes including the organizations summer intern program and compile, evaluate, maintain and present human resource data/ information and otherwise assist the HRS Administrators and Director, Human Resource Services with meeting the human resource needs of the Organization.

    Major Responsibilities and Duties


    DESCRIPTION OF TASK

    |

    Responsible for all the administrative tasks related to the recruitment and hiring of candidates for all positions within the organization.

    |

    Compile and analyze data and prepare reports, correspondence and related information of applicant flow and job opening information and other data relative to staffing and recruiting to assist the Administrator in assessing needs of the Organization. Compile, enter, file, and track all correspondence related to job opening and applicants; and retrieve information for preparation of reports as directed. Assist with the production and distribution of reports and other data as directed.

    Maintain and update the candidate database and applicant tracking systems (ATS).

    Assist, as directed, with developing new job descriptions/specifications and revising current ones to ensure consistency and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

    Instruct and provide information to applicants regarding the application process, open positions; Review applications for completeness.

    |

    Conduct and otherwise coordinate all applicant testing processes, the administration thereof and all tasks related thereto, including the scheduling of the candidates and the scoring of the tests.

    |

    Responsible for the administration of the candidate interview process which includes scheduling interviews between staff and applicants, reviewing the interview assessments and preparing candidate selection packages for CEO.

    |

    Under the supervision of HRS Administrator prepare and send offer packages to potential candidates.

    |

    Assist as directed with the new employee orientation program which covers all company policies and procedures.

    |

    Assist with employee engagement programs as directed.

    |

    Respond to general inquiries regarding HRS policies, procedures, and programs.

    |

    Assist in preparation of all Standard Operating Procedures.

    |

    Provide support for Director, HRS, all HRS Administrators and other HRS staff as directed.

    |

    Assists in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by participating in required training, recognizing and reporting hazards and suspicious activity, and using all required personal protective equipment.

    |

    Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

    EDUCATION/TRAINING

    Required:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • 3-4 years progressive experience in field of human resources.
    • Experience with and proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and related human resources software with at least 2 years in Staffing & Recruiting (e.g., onboarding, HRIS).
    • Experience with and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

    Desired:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Personnel Relations, Business Administration, Public Administration.
    • PHR/SPHR certified

    The following tasks are performed by Diesel Mechanics:

    • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles
    • Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using diagnostic equipment and calibration devices
    • Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment
    • Examine parts for damage or excessive wear
    • Fit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
    • Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment in order to diagnose defects
    • Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency
    • Performs other related duties as required

    The following knowledge is required to skillfully perform the job of a Mechanic:


    • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction
    • Knowledge of machines and tools; their uses, repair, and maintenance
    • Knowledge of company safety policies and procedures to comply with company, local, state, and/or federal laws
