Responsibilities HAVI is seeking an intern to support the Quality team during summer 2019 (June 3-August 16) in our Downers Grove location. As a HAVI intern, you will participate in exciting projects and assignments that support our fast-paced business while working on your own and with team members as you embark on your career. We offer a 10-week program, 36-hour work-weeks, and a lunch subsidy to all interns! Key assignments & projects:Competitive Validation: Perform a competitive evaluation of packaging products to gain insights related to how the packaging performs against competitive packagingManufacturing Control Plan: Develop a manufacturing control plan for an identified product to be deployed globallyGather qualification documentation for new packaging Suppliers and conduct audits of previous Supplier documentation for compliance to HAVI standardsManage product testing requests with third party labs, including the review of test results and reporting out final recommendationsManage the complaint sample management process, recovering samples from the field and forward them to Suppliers to help drive continuous improvementAudit Supplier scorecards for accuracy Desired Skills & Experience Successful intern candidates meet the following requirements: [add specific requirements necessary to ensure successful internship]Must be available June 3-August 16Minimum requirement of junior year college completion Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (science, technology, engineering or math)Minimum GPA of 3.0 Demonstrated time management skills through course work and extracurricular activitiesMS Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Good written and verbal communicationCollaborative/teamwork oriented Benefits Housing assistance is not provided for summer internships.OptionsApply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendReferSorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
