Responsibilities HAVI is seeking an intern to support the Strategic Sourcing team during summer 2019 (June 3 - August 16) in our Downers Grove location. As a HAVI intern, you will participate in exciting projects and assignments that support our fast-paced business while working on your own and with team members as you embark on your career. We offer a 10-week program, 36-hour work-weeks, and a lunch subsidy to all interns! Key assignments & projects:Provide spend analysis support for Strategic Sourcing Reviews (our formal bid process).Research global raw material suppliers and assess their capabilities for potential supply options.Provide sourcing support for McDonalds Scale for Good Sustainability Initiative.Refresh and enhance the Supplier Qualification Process including gathering cross-functional input and updating process documentation.Develop a scoring matrix to track and trend the results of Supplier Performance Evaluations.Support the develop of contingency plans for key strategic packaging categories across multiple customers.
