    The Holiday Inn at the American Center is now accepting applications for Full & Part-time Guest Service Representatives. The hours for this position are from 7 am to 3 pm & 3 pm to 11 pm.

    Job Description:

    This position requires a motivated, dependable, and detailed-oriented individual with good computer skills, who can multi-task and demonstrate a guest-focused attitude while responding quickly to guest needs. Our team members are positive individuals who know how to exceed guest expectations while maintaining an exceptional level of hospitality and professionalism.

    Responsibilities:

    Greet arriving guests, assign rooms, make keys, and collect guest payment and billing information in a friendly and welcoming manner

    Ability to work on a computer, answer phone calls, and handle walk-ins for guest reservations, cancellations, check-ins, check-outs, and processing guest’s payment and billing information

    Providing outstanding service by listening and handling guests’ needs and requests in a quick and timely manner

    Communicate with all departments to ensure a smooth and well-run operation so that each guest has the best experience possible

    Acknowledge the guest whenever they enter or leave the hotel

    What we are looking for:

    Hotel experience preferred but not required

    Commitment to excellence

    Dependable and enthusiastic work ethic

    Superb customer service skills always having a positive attitude

    Willingness to develop yourself and learn from any mistakes

    Attention to detail

    Friendly & outgoing personality
