    JOB SUMMARY

    Barbacks and cocktail Servers bridge the bar and our guests, ensuring that their food and drinks are out and the guests at each table are happy. The barbacks must keep the bar area stocked and the flow of drinks uninterrupted for our guests. Our cocktail servers are always organized, calm, and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure their tables have the best experience.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    Welcome guests with a friendly greeting and a smile.

    Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.

    Deliver food and drink orders to guests in a timely and courteous manner.

    Relay and/or enter order into POS system and serve courses from bar and/or kitchen.

    Observe guests and check in with them periodically to fulfill any additional requests, assure satisfaction, refills, and top-notch service.

    Handle cash, credit and house charges accurately.

    Assist in the garnishing of drinks.

    Stock napkins, straws, salt & pepper shakers, sugar containers, condiments, etc.

    Return all used bar glassware to bar.

    May assist kitchen staff by ladling soup, tossing salad, portioning desserts, brewing coffee, and performing other services as determined by needs of the restaurant.

    Clear and reset counters and tables at conclusion of each guest.

    Work with the hotel team to create and deliver a memorable service experience for guests.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Knowledge of food service regulations.

    Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills required.

    Able to easily and quickly lift and carry heavy trays.

    Able to stand for long periods of time.

    Able to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to guest issues in accordance to the brand standards.

    Able to work in fast paced environment.

    Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.
