Coffee Machine Repair Technician john conti Gourmet Coffee Co. - Louisville, KY 40218 $14 an hour John Conti Coffee Company Job Title: Coffee Repair Technician Department: Office Coffee Maintenance Reports To: ________________ FLSA Status: Nonexempt / $14.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00p with some overtime and weekend work Southern Indiana area SUMMARY Receives, stores, and distributes material, equipment, and products within establishment by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. General: * Reads coffee route order to determine what vending products are to be pulled for route personnel and put on pallets. * Receives incoming merchandise, verifying amount of merchandise received against packing slip and noting shortages. * Responsible for maintaining organization of warehouse and cleanliness of warehouse and outside perimeters; rotating merchandise once a week. * Responsible for the security of the warehouse, letting only authorized personnel in warehouse area. Accountable for inventory of stock received and dispersed, checking against inventory dollars recorded on a daily and weekly basis. * Communicates with route supervisors on problems or issues that may arise. * Possesses overall general knowledge of warehouse setup. * Sorts and places products or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as product code. * Opens bales, crates, and other containers. * Maintains inventory records. * Performs all job duties in a safe manner. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Computer Skills: The ability to effectively communicate via an e-mail system. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Motor Vehicle Operators License, Good Driving Record, and a Forklift Certified.
