ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. General: * Reads coffee route order to determine what vending products are to be pulled for route personnel and put on pallets. * Receives incoming merchandise, verifying amount of merchandise received against packing slip and noting shortages. * Responsible for maintaining organization of warehouse and cleanliness of warehouse and outside perimeters; rotating merchandise once a week. * Responsible for the security of the warehouse, letting only authorized personnel in warehouse area. Accountable for inventory of stock received and dispersed, checking against inventory dollars recorded on a daily and weekly basis. * Communicates with route supervisors on problems or issues that may arise. * Possesses overall general knowledge of warehouse setup. * Sorts and places products or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as product code. * Opens bales, crates, and other containers. * Maintains inventory records. * Performs all job duties in a safe manner.
