Bachelor' s Degree required preferably in the field of Chemistry or Sales and Marketing.
Minimum of four years' experience in Business 2 Business sales.
Ideal candidate would have lab experience and have technical understanding of flavors.
Willing to travel up to 50% overnight. Consecutive days and out of state travels expected background and drug test will be conducted prior to employment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve business growth within in terms of volume, net sales, and profitability generating new business and introducing new products.
Apply aggressive sales strategies to deliver short term success and build long term growth opportunities.
Manage process for new product introduction and technical assistance when necessary.
Work with the technical and sales support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, generate revenue and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge.
Sell consultative and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their issues.
Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling, email, and networking, trade shows.
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
Demonstrate strong initiative, motivation and discipline.
Build trust, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate integrity.
Performance is measured by a total volume and profit on sales within the region and the ability to meet specific personal and market objectives and goals.
Professional demeanor and business acumen along with understanding of selling techniques.
Above average communication skills (written and spoken) and proficient computer skills.
